This dress is a treasure.
It looks marginally okay on the hanger, kind of shapeless, which it also is when I wear it by itself, but a simple, tiny belt is all it needs to become amazing. I'm just happy I found it and had faith enough to try it on!
It was $3.50 at the thrift store. Didn't I say it was a treasure?
It is so wonderfully full and twirly, not to mention the fact that it makes me feel like a 1950's housewife.
Happy Friday! Links to love coming later today!
peace&love,
Jill

ReplyDeleteAdore, adore, adore. This couldn't be a better dress! The red is gorgeous, the skirt looks like oodles of fun, and those vintage details make it so feminine and amazing.

That's one of the big things I've learned from blogging ... belts can work magic on an outfit. :) Lovely dress - I like the wide white stripe and the white piping up top. Definitely a treasure for $3.50!
ReplyDelete$3.50? Say what?! Now that's what I call a super chic bargain!

i love it! it is so fun to find little treasures like this while thrifting. i love the full skirt and the panel of white at the bottom!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing steal. I agree that small belt can take an otherwise ordinary dress over the top. Love the colors too!
